Case of Chorioangioma with Toxemia

Abstract
Chorioangioma, while encountered rarely, is the most common primary tumor of the placenta. Most tumors are small and are only detected by careful sectioning of the placenta.
Large tumors are rare but are more commonly associated with maternal and neonatal complications.
Maternal complications may include polyhydroamnios, premature labor and delivery, antepartum hemorrhage, and toxemia. Fetal and neonatal complications include hydrops fetalis, congestive heart failure, and disseminated intravascular coagulation.
Now we
have had an experience of a case of chorioangioma with toxemia, and report the case and review with literature briefly.
